We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2024, at the age of 61, Danny Ellis of Rochester, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Danny may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his father Elton Ellis; and his grandparents, Russel Sorensen, Minnie Sorensen, Virgil and Francis Ellis.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Ellis (Sorensen); his children, Deinara Ellis and Andrew Ellis; and his siblings, Terri Lynn Mielke (Greg Burke) and Jeff Ellis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rochester Cremation Services (1605 Civic Center Dr NW, Rochester, MN 55901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
