He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Pfeiffer and Edna Pfeiffer (Meisner); his brothers, Robert and Calvin Pfeiffer; his sister-in-law Margaret Pfeiffer; and his granddaughter GraceAnne Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his daughters, Brenda Nelson (Corey) of Rochester and Benita Moritz (Brent) of State College; his grandchildren, Hope, Isaac Nelson, Hannah and Elizabeth Moritz; his sister-in-law Donna of Columbia; and also Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be given to the tuition assistance fund at Rochester Central Lutheran School in Rochester, Minnesota.
