He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Amann and Della Amann (Bluske); his parents-in-law, Marge Dixon (Harold) and Wayne Amann (Linda); his niece Beth Sibilrud; and his siblings-in-law, Dorathea, Duane Olson, Leroy Hildebrandt, Jean, Wayne Hermanson, Duane Hildebrandt, Elwood Svalland and Robert Chester.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Hildebrandt; his children, Michael Amann of Rochester, MN, William Amann (Mary) of Kimball, MN and Kristine Lindquist (William) of Rochester, MN; his grandchildren, Katy O'Fallon (Bob) of Richmond, MN, Charlie Amann of St. Paul, MN, Tim Lindquist of Rochester, MN and Emily Lindquist of Rochester, MN; his great grandchildren, Mae, Edward, William and Bobby O'Fallon; his brother Thomas Amann (Marcia) of La Crosse, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Margareta Oeltjenbruns (Walter) of Mountain Lake, MN, Kathleen Svalland of Butterfield, MN, Carolyn Chester of Windom, MN and Yvonne Hildebrandt of Mountain Lake, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or Seasons Hospice House.
