She was predeceased by: her parents, Syverin P. Nelson and Loretta Nelson (Matzke); and her son Eric. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her daughter Michelle Bates (Monty); her grandchildren, Taylor Bates, Alicia Bates, Chloe Bates, James Geiselhart and Jessica Geiselhart; and her sister Janet Dison (Henry).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (222 6th Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
