She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer Nelson and Locella Nelson (Baumann); her brothers, James and Bruce Nelson; her niece Melanie Nelson; and her nephew Ben Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette DiBerardino (Louis) of Norwalk, CT and Andrew Austin (Sheryle) of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Samantha Austin, AJ Green (Aaron), Kyle Austin, Adam Robertino and Brendon Robertino; and her siblings, Richard Nelson of Rochester, MN, Susan Crawford of Byron, MN and Jeff Nelson of Rochester, MN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
