In the sacred silence of farewell, Alan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Donald Swee and Mark Swee; his sister-in-law Kelly Swee; his great-nephew Donaven Swee; and his stepfather Cecil Refsland.
He is survived by: his parents, Harlan "Bud" Swee and Evelyn Refsland (Evie); his siblings, LeAnn Kapinos (Robert), Lisa Swee-Atkinson (Steve), Loy Ashton (Garret) and Tom Swee; and his sister-in-law Julie Swee. He is also survived by step-siblings, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Eagles (917 15th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904).
