He is survived by: his sister Juliette Rice (Ren) of Clearwater; and his nieces and nephews, Duaine Rice of Crystal, Tom Rice (Jane) of Maple Grove, Lyn Sanderson (Dan) of Brooklyn Park, Ken Rice (Kim) of Crystal, Roy "Sonny" Sampson of St. Paul, Jim Sampson (Becky) of Alabama, Mark Sampson (Jane) of Idaho and Tim Sampson (Lorrie) of Washington. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
