He was predeceased by: his mother Victoria Pierson; and his grandmothers, Denice Pierson and Sharon Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Kyra and Bentley Pierson; his father James Pierson; his siblings, Curtis Pierson (Brandy) and Coreen Pierson; and his grandfather David Peterson (Noelia Loaisiga). He is also survived by nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family asks that donations may be given for Erick's children to support their education.
