He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Kay Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Jay (Ann), Grace, Katherine Nichols (Rob), Madison and Jennifer Eldridge (Dylan); his brother Don (Maxine); and his brother-in-law Marvin Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
