He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Vinkemeier and Lorraine Vinkemeier (Thaemert); his daughter Holly; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his wife Juliet Nelson; his daughters, Jessi Lipponen (Landon) of Annandale and Kristi Vinkemeier; his grandsons, Charles, William and Samuel; his siblings, Harlan (Nena), Edward (Kathryn) of Annandale and Dean (Pat) of South Haven; and his sister-in-law Colleen Vinkemeier of Annandale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
