It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther C. Magedanz of Richmond, Minnesota, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Esther C. Magedanz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Braegelmann and Frances Braegelmann (Koetter); her family Richmond; her husband Philip Magedanz; her grandchildren, Cody Hagen and Billie-Marie Osterman; her sons-in-law, Ron Himango and William Grothe; and her sisters, Hildegard Ruegemer and Bernice Reitmeier.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Christen (Dwight), Judy Himango, Helen Grothe, John (Deb), Laura Skalicky, Peter (Audrey), Irene Anderson (Bruce), Paul (Connie), Joseph (Jolene) and Renee Ludwig (Dale); and her sisters, Rita Maus and Sylvia Johnson. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the Poor Clare Monastery of Sauk Rapids or Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley.
