He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Carlson and Helen Carlson; and his siblings, Joyce Carlson and Gene Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Carlson; his brother Don Carlson (Ginny); his half-brother Jonathan Edwards (Sandy); his children, Deb Elsner (Greg), Steve Carlson (Gretchen) and Greg Carlson (Ame); his grandchildren, Cody Logeland, Molly Von Wald (Jesse), Quinn Carlson, Cole Carlson, Ellee Carlson and Eric Elsner; and his great grandchild Cade Von Wald. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and family friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel (6527 Portland Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery (46990 Great River Rd, Palisade, MN 56469). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Rustic Trail (204 Main St, Palisade, MN 56469).
