He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldrich Ostlund and Eva Ostlund (Weaver); his son David; his former wife Mary Ostlund; his daughter Laura Peterson; his stepsons, Don Stroh and Patrick Stroh; his stepson-in-law Jerry Terfehr; and his siblings, Myron Ostlund, Donna Pertl and Irene Bergstrom.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary McDonough; his wife Betty Stroh Ostlund; his daughter Julie Rambow; his stepchildren, Margaret Hebert (Jerry), Julie Lundrigan (DJ), Willie Stroh, Teresa Terfehr and Nancy Hollar (Vern); his children-in-law, Brian Peterson, Michelle Stroh and Tammey Stroh; his grandchildren, Adam Rambow, Amanda Fallon, Melissa Leraas, Kari Stanske, Michael Wellnitz, Stephanie Grecula, Dawn Terfehr, McKensie Grina, Alex Stroh, Nicole Hollar, Rachel Stroh and Grant Hollar; and his great grandchildren, Ava Rambow and Arlo Rambow. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
