He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Gavren and Sadie Gavren. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie; his daughters, Jodi Shapiro (Sanders), Wendy Ginsburg and Dr. Beth Gavren; and his sister Renee Kurnow. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Minneapolis Jewish Cemetery Chapel (7032 Penn Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Animal Humane Society of Golden Valley, MN or donor's choice.
