She is survived by: her children, Cindy, Sheri (Darwin) and David (Becky); her grandchildren, Danny (Dana), Abbey (Jimmy), Nicole, Piper and Johnny (Liz); her great grandchildren, Charlie and Morgan; her sister Aleah Haugen; her siblings-in-law, Connie Whipps (Wayne), Linda Leffler and John Leffler (Jan); and her close friends, Bruce Brassard and Jon Blanchard.
If memorials are preferred, Karon supported Sharing & Caring Hands, Boys Town, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and the Animal Humane Society.
