She was predeceased by: her husband Alf; her parents, Rev. Erwin and Bertha Strom; and her brother Rev. Everald Strom (Sylvia). She is survived by: her children, John (Tess) of Golden Valley, Mary Esau (Terry) of St. Louis Park and Jim (Joan) of Minneapolis. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
