With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Medvec of Richfield, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Though Joseph has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Agnes (Keefe). He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughters, Larisa Breid (Nick) and Nicole Farrell (Patrick); his grandchildren, Lucy and Keaton Farrell; and his half-sister Lynne Parker.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peters Church (6730 Nicollet Ave, Richfield, MN 55423). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
