He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto and Margaret; and his siblings, Grace Rasmussen, Ruth Snedcker, Donald and Otto.

He is survived by: his wife Elsa Bloedow; his sons, Mark Bloedow (Debbie) and Brian Bloedow (Kaari); his grandchildren, Alexander, Tyyne, Jonathan and Daniel; and his brother Willis Bloedow (Ruth).
