She was predeceased by: her husband Albert 'Pat Pettigrew; her parents, John Galewski and Dominika Galewski; her daughter Nancy Austin; and her siblings, George, Lambert Galewski and Ann Brandt.

She is survived by: her son Burt Pettigrew; her grandsons, Nathan and Trevor; her sisters, Marian Dooney and Jeanne Kulas; and her son-in-law Robert 'Chip Austin.
