He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Bernauer; and his brother Reverend Jim Bernauer. He is survived by: his children, Terry Breher (Tom), Sue Casey (Jim) and Patrick Bernauer (Kari); his grandchildren, Michael Breher (Lindsey), Jonathan Breher (Becca), Sean Casey, Matthew Casey (Marcela), Lexi Hanneman (Alex) and Spencer Bernauer; and his great grandchildren, Marshall, Colin, Natalie and Miles Breher.
