Arliss Ione Sand Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arliss Ione Sand of Richfield, Minnesota, born in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; and her sister LuJene Gedicke. She is survived by: her children, Clint (Lesli) of Watertown, Sheila Ely-Kotaska (Paul) of Monticello and Ed of Rogers; her grandchildren, Katie Gomez (Gustavo), Jon Ely (Amber), Angie Meyer (Jordan), Heather, Renee, Lydia Ely, Garrett and Peter Sand; and her stepgrandchildren, Emmitt, Audrey and Sam Kotaska. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren (and counting), numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Special thanks to her loving family at the Glenn Memory Care in Buffalo where she lived the past 8 years battling Alzheimer's disease.
