He is survived by: his wife Nancy Merila; his children, Teresa Levinson (Steve) of Newfolden, MN, Tim Benedict (Yvonne), Bill Benedict (Judy) of Middletown, NJ and Tom Sabraski (Lindy) of Rice, MN; his siblings, Mary Kay Maasen (Ron), Rick Benedict (Paulette) and Tony Benedict; his grandchildren, Kate Awsumb (Brian), Michael (Julie), Rachel, Erinne, Christian Benedict, Shane Sabraski (Katie) and Sonja Weisman (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Ingrid, Erik Awsumb, Skyeler, Aerial, Keizer Weisman, Mason and Braelyn Sabraski.
