It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Schlichting of Rice, Minnesota, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schlichting and Agnes Schlichting (Trutwin); and his brothers-in-law, Milo Czeck, Ray Roehl, Donald Warzecha and Donald Rerecich.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Kasper; his children, Erika Egli (Darryl), Candace Kronholm (Justin), Maria Shrake (Paul), Sara Lieser (Eric) and Joseph Schlichting (April); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Esme, Abigail, Madeline, Paul, Sophia, Ezri and Moses; and his siblings, MaryAnn Czeck, Theresa Roehl, Lorraine Warzecha, Delores Czech (Dave), Marci Nelson (Marv), Jeanette Brixius (Larry), John Schlichting (Dianne) and David Schlichting (Debbie). He is also survived by four daughters and son.
