He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Beitz and Myrtle Beitz (Sankey); his wife Marilyn; his daughter Julie Nelson; and his brothers, Art, Sam and John Beitz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Beitz-Demery of Rice and Lisa Anderson (Tom) of Sauk Rapids; his son-in-law Scott Nelson of Brainerd; his grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Sarah, Cody, Tyler, Drew, Rilie, Maggie and Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Brayden and Aliya.
