He was predeceased by: his son Allen; his mother Bertha Johnson; his grandmother Sarah Kniep; and his siblings, Lee Johnson and Shirley Norberg.
He is survived by: his children, Gary, Darla Pitoscia (Michael), Dale (Skye), Leroy and Randy; and his sister Linda Wolfe (Tim). He is also survived by six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
