He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his stepchild Andrea Vail; his stepgrandchildren, Aiden and Hailey; his stepson Nicholas Neuman; his daughter Jennifer Nelson; his siblings, Gary Nelson (Georgia), Michael Nelson, Ann Anding (Maurice), Jane Meland and Mary Preusser (Mel); and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Wipper (Shelley), Jeff Wipper (Jackie) and Randy Wipper (Raquel).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
