He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Neeland and Freanette L. Ortley; and his siblings, Wesley "Jughead" Neeland, Lewellyn "Soozi" Ortley, Frank Neeland, Charlotte "Ann" Ortley, Kim Neeland, Marilyn "Mary" Neeland and Marlene McKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Cain; his children, Nakoa Neeland of Mahnomen, MN, Shannon Neadeau of Bemidji, MN and Negonequaye Neadeau of Cass Lake, MN; his sisters, Celestia Neeland of Mahnomen, MN, Lenora "Lenny" Neeland of Bagley, MN and Sharon "Sherry" Neeland of Bagley, MN; and his grandchildren, Brett King, Paige King, Kashanna Lussier and Destiny Lussier. He is also survived by children; and many other family and friends.
