He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parents, Dick Jr. Roos and Edna Roos; his wife Jeanette Eileen Millerbernd; his children, Karen Kraus (Mark) of Chicago, IL and Michael Roos (Deb) of Renville; his grandchildren, Luke Robinson of North Conway, NH, Michael Robinson of Chicago, IL, Thomas Robinson of Buffalo, MN, MacKenzie Knapper of Chicago, IL, Branden Jahnke of St. Cloud and Devin Roos of Port Orchard, WA; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Millerbernd, Jim Millerbernd (Bonnie), Chris Carlson (Todd) and Barb Beck (Paul). He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
