He is survived by: his wife Maria Concepcion Maya; his son Juan Maya Jr. (Mydalene Mendez); his grandchildren, Jordyn, Makaila, Juanito, Julian and Javier; his daughter Eva Mendiola Maya (Vidal Mendiola Manriquez); his grandchildren, Vidal Jr. and Teodoro; and his great grandchild Javier Maya.
