He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvin Smith and Laura Smith (Klein). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fricke; his sons, Frank Smith of Renville and Clayton Smith (Madison Graves) of Wahpeton, ND; and his parents-in-law, Rodney and Christie Fricke of Douglas. He is also survived by family, other relatives and friends.
