He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Fitzner and Marie Fitzner (Dittberner); his grandson Christopher Novotny; his siblings, Alice Sayles and Dale Fitzner; and his brother-in-law Jim Loeschke.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy of Renville; his children, Jody Boettcher of Renville, Kim McFall of Hector and Todd Fitzner (Lisa) of Renville; his grandchildren, Shane Fitzner (Kayla), Ashley Poderzay (Brennan), Tiffany Schultz (Nick), Abby Anthony (AJ), Jeremy Boettcher (Brittany), Jacob Boettcher, Hunter McFall and Haley McFall; his great grandchildren, Carson, Beckham, Ariya Fitzner, Brynna Novotny, Dax, Lydie Poderzay, Chloe, Freya Schultz, Asher Anthony, Konnor White and Bella Boettcher; his sister Darlene Loeschke; and his siblings-in-law, Wally Sayles, Karen Fitzner, Larry and Elaine Cartwright. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred.
