She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnson and Malvina Johnson (Schemel); her husband Frederick Schmidt of Renville; her siblings, Bob Johnson, Stan Jepson, David Jepson and Loreen Olson; and her son-in-law Larry Mulder.
She is survived by: her former spouse Brainerd Wein; and her children, Susan Munneke (Dwight) of Willmar, Rick Schmidt (Cindy) of Spicer, Bill Schmidt (Jill) of Winona, Ellen Mulder of Pella and Cathy Lindberg (Dan) of Coon Rapids, MN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
