With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger George Monroe of Remer, Minnesota, born in Cass Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Isabelle Monroe (Aitken); his siblings, Harold, Calvin, Clyde, Adeline, Bernice "Bunny" and Darlene "Doll"; and his niece Tonya.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Butcher, Shaun Butcher, Corey Butcher, Jenn Clarke, Christina McMurrin, Linsey McMurrin and Jason McMurrin; his siblings, Eveyln Monroe, Elaine Saccoman (Sam) and Edwin Monroe; and his cousins, Glendora Ellis and Cheryl Holk (Dave). He is also survived by father figure; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews he loved.
