She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Swentkofske and Opal Swentkofske; her son Thomas Hicks Jr.; and her brother John Swentkofske. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Hicks Sr.; her daughters, Carol Hicks (Galen Plath) of Remer and Jill Walden (Reyes Garcia) of Moorhead, MN; her siblings, Paula Joslin (Swentkofske), Raymond Swentkofske (Joy) of Arizona and Paul Swentkofske (Maureen) of Remer; and her grandsons, Garrett Hicks (Kim) of Pillager, MN and Dane Hicks of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by two great grand-children.
