He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Scherer and Grace Scherer (Boehmer); his son Scott Scherer; his brothers, Bob Scherer, Kenny Scherer and Ray Scherer; and his brother-in-law Jim E. McNeal.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Scherer; and his siblings, Willie Scherer (Donna) and Susie McNeal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
