She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Dugas and Anna Dugas (Klabunde); her husband Elmer Nelson; her son Terry Nelson; her brother Kenneth Dugas; and her brother-in-law Leonard Berberich.
She is survived by: her sons, Leon Nelson (Debby) of Bemidji and Douglas Nelson of Wabasso, Minnesota.; her grandchildren, Christine Januchowski (Randy) of Hillsborough, DeeDee Roundtree (Antonio) of St. John and Briana Smith (Levi) of Moorhead; and her sister Georgiana Berberich of New Ulm, Minnesota..
In Lieu of Flowers, the family prefers memorials to Gilmor Manor or Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
