She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos and Rosaline; her spouse Donald; her brother Kenneth Ferreira of Guyana; and her son Michael.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Schultz (Donald) of Alexandria, Linda Robinson (Gary) of Redwood Falls and Brian Fixsen (Karen) of Olivia; her grandchildren, Kim MacNamee (Richard), Kari Brandt (Nathan), Krista Manor (Nate), Jennifer Keehl (Jesse), Jamie Peterson (Nathan), Michael Fixsen, Matthew Fixsen and Mary Fixsen; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Hanna, Hailey, Reagan, Taylor, Luken, Addison, Brady, Aubree, Ethen, Carter, Andrew and Owen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
