He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Rivard and Evelyn Rivard (Paulson); his brothers-in-law, Dan Peterson, Chet DeJongh and Vince Stelzer; his nephew Dan Peterson, Jr.; and his father-in-law Jerome Lipetzky.
He is survived by: his children, Toni (Greg), Stacy (Bob), Brak (Kelly) and Abby (Garrett); his wife Ceil; and his siblings, Sharon DeJongh, Sharlene Peterson, Sheila Stelzer and Stuart Rivard (Diane). He is also survived by four children, seven grandchildren.
