She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Zemler and Agnes Zemler (Baechler); her husband Herbert Remiger; and her siblings, Edwin, Jim, Thomas, Fred and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Gasser (Ken) of St. Cloud, Michael Remiger (Carole) of Wabasso, Joseph Remiger (Colleen) of Wabasso, Rosie Van Meveren (Joe) of Lucan, Rita Merschman (Kevin) of Backus and Jean Peters (Jason) of Comfrey; her siblings, Rosemary Zemler, Rita Jo Bunkers, Richard Zemler, Donald Zemler and Margaret Heath; and her sisters-in-law, Lucille Plaetz and Louise Rice. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
