He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hoffbeck and Ella Hoffbeck (Nielsen); his wife Shirley; his grandson Bryce Lange; his brothers, Raymond, Vernon and Francis "Fritz" Hoffbeck; and his siblings-in-law, Laverne Dahmes, Darlene, Lois and Joyce Hoffbeck.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Hoffbeck of Lynchburg, VA, Patricia Freeman (Nathan) of Northfield, Randy Hoffbeck (Leanne) of Alexandria, Rodney Hoffbeck of Redwood Falls and Valerie Nelson (Todd) of Minneapolis; his granddaughters, Alisha Norman (Daniel) and Krista Hoffbeck; his great grandchildren, Sylvia and Evie Norman; his siblings, Viola Dahmes of Redwood Falls, Alvin Hoffbeck (Ardith) of Tracy and Floyd Hoffbeck of Redwood Falls; and his sister-in-law Alvina Hoffbeck of Morgan. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
