He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver "Jimmy" and Darlene Gibbs (Jones); his sister Ann Sumner; and his nephews, James Lee Gibbs, Justice White and Dale White.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lisa Lyons, Tina Roybal (Bob), Margaret Gibbs and Richard Gibbs; and his aunt Delores Fineday. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
