He was predeceased by: his wife Delores; and his brothers, Robert and Richard. He is survived by: his children, Michael "Rudy" Safe and Dee Safe; his brother Wayne "Whitey" Safe (Barb) of Red Wing; his sister-in-law Suzanne Safe of Welch; his grandchildren, Brooke Warwick (Justin) and Andrew Safe (Brandy); and his great grandchildren, Jace Warwick and Grayson Safe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or Red Wing Pottery Musuem.
