It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Siewert of Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Siewert and Mildred Siewert (Diercks); and his sister Ardyce Cook. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Woods (Kelly), Todd Siewert (Leah), Karl Siewert (Lisa) and Robin Khosa; his stepdaughter Carla Ludwig (Mark); his grandchildren, Matthew, Laura, Kyle, Kristie, Stephanie, Tescha, Jada, Laney, Sunita and Rekha; his close friend Ruth Mitchell; his grandchildren, Sheana, Garret, Aaron, Kendra, Kristina, Bryan and Alyssa; his sisters, Marian "Skip" Nelson (Don) and Katherine "Katy" Bjorngaard (Merrill); his sister-in-law Patricia Busch; and also, Sue Handzel (Ken) and David Mitchell (Lori). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
