She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Maurer and Eathal Maurer (Karns); her husband Harold Pagel; her son Jim Pagel (Patricia) of Wabasha, Minnesota; her grandsons, Michael Pagel (Robin), Eric Pagel (Stacey) and David Pagel (Natalie); her great grandchildren, Grace, Calvin, Maxwell, Claire and Nolan Pagel; and her brother Leo Maurer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church, 213 E. 5th Street, Wilton, Iowa, 52778 in Vera's memory.
