He is survived by: his son George Roger Wells; his siblings, Floyd G. Wells, Doreen Hagen, LaVita Wells, Janice Wells and Sheri Black Tail Deer (Sophie Wells); his niece Reyna Defoe; and his godchildren, Dacia Lussier and Joey Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and singer brothers.
