He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Simanski and Gudrun Simanski (Johnson); his siblings, Vern, Don, James and Jane Wettern; and his grandson Sean Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hanson; his children, Greg Simanski of Red Wing and Beth Kelly (Jim) of Red Wing; his grandchildren, Erin Buck (Cody), Erica Clark (Jeremy), Patrick Kelly (Caroline), Rachel and Josh Simanski; his great grandchildren, Marcus, Avery, Sean, Elliot, Ella and Baby Clark; and his sister Lois Dahling of Red Wing.
