With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard R. Klassen (Red Wing, Minnesota), born in Wabasha, Minnesota, who passed away on March 25, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Donald Klassen; his stepfather Ralph Peterson; his brother Eddie; and his sister-in-law Nancy Klassen. He is survived by: his former wife Kristine Kroening; his wife Kris; his sons, Kevin (Cathy) of Eden Prairie, Corey (Rachel) of San Diego, Calif and Kyle of Keystone, Colo.; his grandchildren, Kobe, Kimi and Carter; his mother Esther Peterson (Hielscher) of Dodge Center; and his siblings, Don of Edina, Jean LaCroix (Bob) of Arizona, Dan (Lori) of Alexandria, Judy Biers (Tom) of Dodge Center, Tom (Sandy) of Edina and Pete (Carrie) of Plainview. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
