He is survived by: his wife Lois Hofmeister; his children, Christopher Zielkie of Bay City and Dannielle Zielkie (Anthony Cappola) of Red Wing; his grandchildren, Jaycee Gilbertson, Paris Gilbertson and Carmella Cappola; and his sisters, Darlene Ecker of Hudson and Delores Mathis (William) of Alma, Wis.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
