He was predeceased by: his children, Kevin Eckblad of Vasa, Mary Beth Stromback (Steve) of Duluth, Leann Husband (Tom) of Goodhue, Kari Leonard (Bayard) of Helena, MT and Aaron Eckblad; and his brother Jim Eckblad.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; and his siblings, Grace Nelson of Welch, Linda Knochenmus of Baton Rouge, LA, David (Beverly) of Roseville and Steven of St. Cloud. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
