She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Carlson; her sons, Charles and Terry; her daughter-in-law Randi Carlson; and her brother Dwight Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Bengtson (Jeff) of Eagan, David Carlson (Mary) of Vasa and Michael Carlson (Hettie) of Vasa; and her daughter-in-law LaVonne Carlson of Vasa. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
